Harri Chandler’s work is sculptural and installation based. She has always had an interest in materiality. Chandler likes to push materials to their limits, toying with the relationship between one another. Chandler is very process based, not only that; she has a fascination with texture.

Each state change is a key development for her work, as it progresses her to the next point within her practice. Not only is she process based, it is physical work that she creates. Harri Chandler usually works on a larger scale, to enhance the audiences view. Harri wants the audience to engage within her work.

 Chandler considers what materials she’s using, and when exhibited, plays around with temporary compositions. In the flesh they are never the same, she professionally documents the pieces through photography, rather than showing it in the flesh.
